Does it cost anything to register?

No. Registration is free. In fact, we're currently paying users a dollar just to sign up. Try it!

Do I need to have an account to use the service?

Yes. You need to register.

I'm getting a message on the Registration Page that says my number is invalid. What does that mean?

You must have a valid U.S. cell phone numbers that can be used with The FreeEats Network. We check this during the registration process. It is possible that we don't have your number listed. If you believe you have a valid U.S. cell number that is still failing validation, please contact us with the phone number and zip code you’d like to be registered with, and we'll do what we can to get you added. Most, but not all U.S. carriers work.

Do you support Google Voice?

We don't support Google Voice at this time.

Where is my referral link?

Your referral link is available on your personalized member page.

Where are my referral payments?

As of July 28, 2016 the FreeEats network has suspended referral payments.

I don't see anything in my PayPal account. Why not?

We send our payments via PayPal. You'll need to have a PayPal account linked to your registered mobile phone number. If you have multiple PayPal accounts, please make sure you link your mobile phone number with the PayPal account that you want to receive payment to. If you have further questions, please click the link at the bottom of this page to send us an email with details. We do not have access to your PayPal account and you will need to contact PayPal to deal with any PayPal specific account issues you may have. Why did PayPal send me a message indicating FreeEats.com withdrew money from my PayPal account?

This is a misleading message from PayPal. The FreeEats Network does not have access to withdraw money from your PayPal account. The FreeEats Network sends money to PayPal to credit the mobile phone number you registered with. PayPal notifies you that this money is available to you as long as you link the mobile phone number to your PayPal account. If your mobile phone number is not linked to your account within 30 days, PayPal returns the payment to The FreeEats Network.

Why haven’t I received any text messages?

Our member base is growing rapidly and we’re in the process of building up our client base. As our client base grows the likelihood of you receiving messages increases. Our goal is to build up a client base that will be able to send you one to two messages per week.

How do I get paid?

Please see our Terms of Service. We currently use PayPal to pay users. You will receive an email or text message from PayPal when we make a payment to you for receiving or reviewing content. You will need to open a PayPal account in order to withdraw or transfer funds from PayPal.

Do you share my registration information with anyone?

Please see our Terms of Service for information about circumstances where your information might be disclosed to third parties. We will not disclose or use your information in any way that hasn't been authorized by you.

How much does it cost for me to receive text messages from you?

We do not charge users to receive messages from The FreeEats Network. Of course we do not control your mobile phone provider contracts. Your mobile carrier’s normal messaging, data, and other rates and fees will apply to your use of such Mobile Services. Please see paragraph 2 of our Terms of Service for more information about this.

What if I want to opt-out or close my account?

Send an email to optout@freeeats.com or reply STOP to an invitation message from The FreeEats Network.

How does the service work?

You register for an account. Candidates, companies and organizations that want to reach you contract with The FreeEats Network to ensure delivery of their messages to you.

Additional payments may be provided to you for clicking on links, viewing videos, visiting web sites or calling numbers shown on the mobile phone.

All payments are described in the invitation messages we send.

Our focus is your mobile phone. That is because it is always with you wherever you are.

You may be required to participate for a certain amount of time to receive full payment for activities. For example you may have to watch 30-seconds or more (or less) of a video to receive the payment offered. You may have to visit a web site for 30-seconds or more (or less) in order to receive payment for visiting that link.

Our goal is to pay you for every text message that is sent to you. (One exception -- we won't pay for you to receive administrative and service messages from The FreeEats Network).

When do you make payments?

We make payments via PayPal when we send messages. (When credits appears in PayPal accounts will depend to a certain extent on PayPal.) This may change, and we may offer payment through other services -- if it does, we will let you know and update our Terms of Service accordingly.

May I register more than one mobile phone number?

Yes. It just needs to be a valid mobile phone number that you own.

Is there a limit on the number of text messages I can receive from you or the amount of money I can earn?

At this time we intend to limit the number of invitation messages that you receive from The FreeEats Network to no more than 2 per day, with an annual per user cap of $699. As the database grows we will provide registrants with more options regarding how many messages they receive and how much they get paid per message received.

I got an email about a “referral” program ― where I can learn more about that?

The referral program is currently available to all registered users. You can read more about it here.

I haven’t gotten paid yet. Where’s my money?

We transmit payments via PayPal to our users. When users can’t locate their payments this can usually be resolved by making sure that proper PayPal account information is being used. You don’t need a PayPal account to register. You do need a PayPal account to receive the payments and withdraw them from PayPal (www.PayPal.com). Your PayPal account should use the same phone number that you used to register with The FreeEats Network. When you create a new PayPal account with the phone number you used to register, your newly created PayPal account will be populated with payments we made to you in the preceding thirty (30) days. PayPal returns payments if don't collect them so if you wait too long, you will forfeit payments. If you do not collect a PayPal payment and it is returned to us you will not be entitled to that payment, unless it was due to an error by us in transmitting the payment (if you gave us correct credentials, for example, but we didn’t use them.

Can I get paid using something other than PayPal?

We currently only support PayPal. This may change. One reason we like PayPal is that it allows us to send payments to you at no cost to you.

Are you guys legitimate? What’s the catch?

Yes. We’re legitimate. There’s no catch. We’re going to pay you to receive invitation messages on your mobile device, some of which may have links to surveys, advertisements, or other content that you will have the option to view. We'll collect information about responses that you provide to surveys and use that information to find people who will be interested in sending you additional messages that they will pay you to receive. But this is a new way of doing things and good for your for being careful. So if you're still not sure, check out our Facebook page and look at some of the surveys we've done. Go to Reddit and look for posts about The FreeEats Network. We're real.

I received a message from PayPal about a payment from you being cancelled? What's the deal? Did you do that?

We do not cancel PayPal payments. If you (1) do not accept a payment from us within a PayPal specified period of time, (2) don't open an account with PayPal or (3) don't associate your registered mobile number with a PayPal account, PayPal reverses the transaction and returns the funds. Please review PayPal's terms of service and make sure that when you receive a payment you accept it if required.
